Enjoy Maze Fun With Blockout

Challenge your mobility with Blockout

Blockout - the game of blocks - while it initially appears like a very easy game to play, actually requires quite a lot of forethought. This is a good thing though since it gives the game a bit of an edge. What I mean by that is that Blockout is not just your standard game of moving around a maze. This game requires the player to have the ability to be able to move themselves (the brown block) in and around the grid. It should be noted that this is not as easy as moving around other mazes.

How Blockout works

Okay, so here is what happens in Blockout. There are 3 different colored blocks: brown (which is you, the player); blue which indicates the end of the level (in other words, you have to aim to get to where the blue block is - that is the way out in each level) and then grey blocks (most of the blocks you will see are grey; they are the ones that form the blocks in the wall) which you have to move yourself around. This game has 50 levels. Each level gets harder. You use your arrow keys to move around and you have a certain amount of time on each level to accomplish this (less time as each level progresses).

How Blockout worked for me

Okay, so initially I really didn't know what I was doing in Blockout. That means that I had a hard time maneuvering myself (the brown block) around the screen. (You don't get much help with that from the rules on this game). But after some time of trying, I did get over that hurdle and then it all became much easier, and much more fun too. For sure the more I played the game, the better I did and thus the more confident I became. The time restrictions on each level definitely made it more exciting and made me want to play the game more, but hey, what's wrong with that?
